I am a cruising novice.

I know that is hard to believe given the fact I am a Navy Captain. But there are Navy Captains and then there are Navy Captains. I am a public Affairs officer and a reservist, so I have way more time in Pakistan and Afghanistan than I do on a warship. So taking a cruise is a completely new experience. I dare say that it would be for surface warfare officer as well.
